Help Provide Healthy Options for Kids
Wednesday, June 17 | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Thursday, June 18 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Since 2013, the United Fresh Start Foundation has organized the School Foodservice Forum, an educational event which brings together chefs and foodservice operators from many of the largest U.S. school districts, creating opportunities for collaboration between the fresh produce industry and school nutrition leaders.
During this two-day program, attendees will participate in idea-sharing sessions focused on fresh fruits and vegetables in school meal and snack programs, elevating opportunities to introduce children to a variety of produce choices.
Participation by the K12 community supports their knowledge and ability to source, serve and promote fresh produce to our nation’s children.
In addition, participants will have access to the Kid Zone where school buyers will discover new and innovative fresh produce products, engage in conversations with the industry, and share best practices amongst each other, as they look to offer more fresh choices for students.
