The Produce Forum for School Success is the produce industry’s foremost event to connect produce industry members with K-12 school foodservice buyers.
Now in its fifth year, the Produce Forum for School Success will take place at the United Fresh convention, June 14-15.
Hosted by the United Fresh Start Foundation, this program brings together leading foodservice directors from the nation’s largest and most progressive school districts to walk the trade show floor, share best practices, and discuss new and creative ways to serve and promote fresh produce on their menus.
As part of this program, school foodservice directors will also attend the Fresh Festival for School Foodservice, a reception that provides an opportunity for the produce industry to:
- Share tasting samples
- Showcase new fresh-cut options for foodservice
- Display innovative packaging solutions, and
- Talk one-on-one with the professionals responsible for serving healthy meals and snacks to thousands of children every day at school.
School Business is Big Business - Every day across America, 31 million children participate in the National School Lunch Program, and over 11 million children participate in the School Breakfast Program. Often referred to as, “the largest restaurant in town”, school districts provide healthy meals and snacks to thousands of children each day.
Sponsors make it possible for school foodservice leaders to attend the Produce Forum for School Success. With your support, we are able to provide travel and hotel support, so these key buyers can attend the convention. Companies can also choose to exhibit at the Fresh Festival for School Foodservice.
